Prices and Payment
How much is a Semmelweis-ring? (What does a Semmelweis-ring cost?)
The price of the ring is determined by the size and any individual requests (engraving) as well as the continuous change in the world market price of gold. Please inquire about the current prices from our staff in the Semmelweis Shop (1094 Budapest, Tűzoltó utca 37-47).

How can you pay?
The ring can only be purchased in person in the Semmelweis Shop. The order is finalized upon the payment of a 100% downpayment after the exact size has been determined. The purchase price is payable in advance by bank card (Visa, MasterCard) or by bank transfer, at the time of giving the order, on site.
Please note that when paying in euros, prices published in HUF will be converted at the exchange rate of 1€ = 360 HUF.
Measurement
How do I get to know my ring size?
Your ring’s size is defined by the goldsmith/jeweler, who makes the ring, using the sizing tools provided in our Shop.
What if the size is not right? Can it be adjusted later?
Dimensional adjustments, subsequent modifications, and repairs are carried out exclusively by the Manufacturer, according to its current price list, whose contact information is provided upon ordering.
Ordering, production and taking over the product
How can I order the ring?
The ring can only be purchased in person in the Semmelweis Shop.
How long does it take to make the jewelry?
The expected production time is 1-2 months, which may vary depending on the workload of the goldsmith/jeweler. The Manufacturer will do everything possible to meet the deadlines specified in the order, in the meantime the final deadline is maximum 3 months from the date of ordering. If the deadline is exceeded, the Customer will be notified in writing.
How can I get the ring?
The rings can be taken over in person in the Semmelweis Shop (1094 Budapest, Tűzoltó utca 37-47). The customer will always be notified by e-mail when the product is ready.
Is there any delivery abroad?
Since international delivery of precious metals is a very complicated procedure, currently the product can only be collected in person or by an authorized representative in the Shop.
Warranty and after-sales service
Is there a warranty on the ring? If so, what does it cover?
The Manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty on the rings, the exact details of which are contained in the Terms and Conditions document.
You can validate your warranty claim by presenting the warranty card issued for the jewelry and the final invoice issued to the Manufacturer, whose contact information is provided upon ordering.
Does the Shop undertake subsequent repairs or cleaning?
The Seller does not undertake subsequent repairs or cleaning, these can be arranged directly with the Manufacturer’s jeweler, for extra fee, according to the Manufacturer’s price list, whose contact details are provided upon ordering.
Use of material, certification and packaging
What kind of gold are the rings made of?
The Semmelweis ring is available in 3 versions: 14 carat yellow, white or rose gold. A certificate is provided to the jewelry describing the consistence of the precious metal.
Can I receive the ring in gift wrapping?
Each ring is delivered in a jewelry box or gift bag, together with the jewelry certificate.
Cancellation
Can I cancel my order if I change my mind?
Since the ordered rings are personalized, unique products, the Customer is not entitled to cancel the order.
